Greetings from Sierra Kilo Nine
My name is Ralph and this is my first transmission from the land known as Moss.
Mission: Bird Hunt
My plan is to record how many types of birds live in Mossfield and where they nest along with all the other wildlife
My friend Noah gave me a book of birds and Grandad gave me some binoculars. I have a pad to draw all the birds I see.

Today it rained all day but we put up all the bird feeders, filled them with sunflower seeds and hung coconuts. We have had many birds visiting today. Including lots of Starlings who are so funny, they are always fighting. The bird I have seen most of today is a Goldfinch. They seem to like eating the sunflower seeds. There are at least 5 goldfinches and it looks like a few baby goldfinches as well. This is my drawing of the Goldfinch. It has a bright red patch on its head with a white beak and yellow stripes on its wings.
